Peter Fasano is a Global Consulting Principal leading the Digital Strategy practice at OgilvyRED. His role is to apply expertise in digital marketing and consulting while designing and delivering transformational programs, guiding OgilvyRED teams and directly advising clients.
Peter and the Digital Strategy Consulting team work with global clients to navigate complex enterprise-level digital transformation strategies, including governance, digital innovation, social business and mobility across industries and countries.
Before joining OgilvyRED, Peter was the North America Managing Director of Social@Ogilvy. During this time, he directly managed enterprise digital transformation programs for clients at Darden Restaurants, Molson Coors and UPS, helping to unify uncoordinated digital activity into a unified enterprise governance system. Prior to Ogilvy, Peter led groundbreaking social business programs at Target and cofounded the global social media program at The Coca-Cola Company.
Peter’s digital marketing and consulting career have been at the forefront of the Web 1.0 and 2.0 and into the ubiquitous internet in many roles — ranging from a Web developer to enterprise content management and product, search, mobile, social and integrated digital. Peter helped construct Coca-Cola’s first global SEO program and Microsoft’s first SEM program to support the global product launch of Windows Vista.
Peter remains engaged in thought leadership and has presented at SXSW, ExactTarget Connections, AdTech, AARF and 4As. Professionally, Peter is an active member of the WPP Digital Advisory Board and a committee member of the 4As; he is also founding member of Social Media Club.
An alumnus of California State University, Long Beach, Peter studied kinesiology and business – a valuable foundation for evaluating systems in motion, applying technology for competitive advantage and establishing systems for sustained performance.
Peter lives in Armonk, New York, U.S.A with his wife Pamela and tween daughters – Bella and Sophia. Together, they entertain their two Jack Russell terriers by exploring trails near and far on foot or mountain bike. Peter and his daughters are aspiring photographers and enjoy urban architectural visits to New York and other cities.
