OgilvyRED expands global footprint with the announcement of London office to service UK & EMEA regions.
OgilvyRED enlists trio of high-profile experts to launch London hub as the consultancy group builds upon continued success.
London, 10th May – Today, Ogilvy announces the expansion of its Strategy & Innovation Consulting practice, OgilvyRED, with the launch of a London office that will service the UK and EMEA region. Born in 2011 under the leadership of Ogilvy Worldwide Vice Chairwoman Carla Hendra, the specialist consultancy has built itself a reputation for helping clients to navigate complexity through a DNA that boasts a unique combination of strategic rigor & creativity – and all housed within one of the world’s largest creative agencies.
The OgilvyRED London hub will be fronted by a new leadership team, comprised of current and former Ogilvy employees, all who bring with them a deep expertise in the Digital and Innovation sectors. It will be led by UK/EMEA Managing Director & Consulting Principal, Ann Higgins – formerly OgilvyOne UK Chief Strategy Officer. Higgins’ career at WPP & Ogilvy spans almost 20 years, having worked in various Senior Strategy and Planning roles across some of the agency’s largest accounts around the world. Joining from brand and marketing consultancy, Prophet, is Paul English who will take on the role of Consulting Principal, Digital Transformation. English was a Founding Director of Sapient Interactive, now Sapent Nitro, ran his own digital agency for several years and prior to that worked for OgilvyInteractive in Paris and New York as Executive Director. They are joined by Thomas Crampton, currently Global MD of Ogilvy’s Social Media Practice, a team of more than 800 social media & digital specialists across more than 40 territories. Crampton joins as Consulting Principal, Marketing Transformation.
The growing appetite shown globally by brands for OgilvyRED’s services has prompted the expansion of additional hubs over the past 18 months in both APAC and LATAM. The consultancy’s focus remains in providing answers to 3 overarching questions posed by clients searching for transformative change around: Growth Strategy, Integrated solutions and Innovation. The consultancy has long proven a leading example of horizontality in practice, with collaboration and process implementation made possible through the deep expertise on offer from both the Ogilvy group & the wider WPP network.
Together Higgins, Crampton & English will lead the OgilvyRED EMEA operations from Ogilvy UK’s London office at Sea Containers, reporting into UK Group CEO Annette King, and OgilvyRED Global Chair & Ogilvy Worldwide Vice-Chair Carla Hendra.
